TRACK (Three Rivers Arts, Community, Knowledge) is a project designed to help revitalize downtown Three Rivers, Massachusetts by providing venues for artists, crafts people, and performers to showcase and sell their work. We’re also assisting business and property owners with marketing rental space that’s currently vacant, hosting community events to increase foot traffic downtown and offering more opportunities for residents to enjoy the arts. Artists of all types are enthusiastically invited to participate in the TRACK project. Those with financial needs are encouraged to apply for TRACK mini-grants to help them ready their work for display. Some funding is also available to artists for business training. Downtown Three Rivers business and property owners are encouraged to apply for technical assistance with marketing, legal, and code issues, as well as TRACK mini-grants to help make their rental spaces suitable places for artists to create and display their work.
Be on the lookout for TRACK artwork on display throughout downtown Three Rivers and stay tuned for information about upcoming TRACK performances and cultural events. This project is funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. TRACK is a partnership between the Palmer Historical and Cultural Center, the Palmer Redevelopment Authority, the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce, and the Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation.
